If Your Pet Could....

If your furkid could use your computer, what do you think he would buy? Yes, probably tennis balls by the case, a jar of those cute little leather mice stuffed with catnip and several packages (at a minimum!) of favorite treats. But there would be other, less exciting but more important things in the furkid's shopping cart as well.

Our fur babies mean the world to us. And us to them. But they do furkid things...like run fast and far away from loud noises or fall for the seduction of an open gate. They get lost. Hurt. And worse. They cannot speak to tell a rescuer who they are...where they live... They depend upon us, their humans, to make sure they are identifiable. But we forget, we don't have time, we'll do it next week.

Since it's unlikely your dog has ordered a new ID tag online or your kitty is off to see about getting a microchip this afternoon -- please check right now -- is the tag still on the collar and is it correct? Does the microchip company have your current contact information? We all know what it feels like to get the "should haves" after something bad happens. Don't wait!
